The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is a truth revealed by God and defined by His Mystical Body, the Church. Often times, the Virginal Conception of Jesus gets labeled the Immaculate Conception. The Immaculate Conception refers to Mary being conceived without any stain from Original Sin. Mary also remained sinless for the rest of her life! This teaching is often contested by non-Catholic Christians. Can this teaching be rooted in the Sacred Scripture? Do Catholics overstep their bounds when it comes to the Immaculate Conception? The Immaculate Conception has so much to teach the People of God about who Christ is and the instrumental role Mary plays in everyone’s salvation. The questions mentioned above and a whole host of others will be answered in this tenth episode of Truth Still Matters! Please leave a positive review to help spread the word.
Really liked this one, keep up the good work!
Thanks Miles!
It took me 40 years to understand the immaculate conception thank you
The parallels that he outlines from the old and new testament, such as mary being the new ark, shows how important it is to read the bible from a metaphorical standpoint as well as a literal standpoint. It is interesting to see how Mary’s life was all part of God’s plan.
I’m so glad I found this video from Sr, Helena Burns on Twitter. I really appreciated this look at the Immaculate Conception. Thank you so much.
Thanks Jennifer! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch. Please spread the word.
Full of grace means Mary was, is, and will be sinless,

Thank you so much, Serena!
Mr. Sanders, thank you so much for this episode. I found it to be a great summary of Catholic doctrine on Mary. I also found it to be very useful and accessible to all Catholics.
Thanks Jose!
This helps cement it in. I particularly liked the parallel between David’s trip to Jerusalem and Mary’s visit to Elisabeth.
Awesome!
I love the line by St. Irenaeus- Mary’s obedience unties the knot tied by Eve’s disobedience. Thank you for sharing the Good News with great enthusiasm!
You are so welcome.
love how you mentioned the typology in 2 Samuel and connect it with the gospel of Luke when Elizabeth in Mary meet. Pretty Powerful. Thank you for refreshing my memory. Amen!
Thanks
oh my goodness Mr. Sanders this was great I so much understand these topic so much better and I believe I can now tell anyone about the Virgin Mother Mary with out being knock down.
Thank you so much
Excellent!
This was an amazing explanation of Mary and her immaculate conception! It truly is a shame that other denominations do not recognize Mary in this way. You gave us solid points that are straight out of the bible! It’s so beautiful how the Old testament and the new testament come together like a beautiful puzzle piece. The ark of the new covenant… Mary being the new eve. It all comes together and it just shows how beautiful and merciful our God truly is. Thank you so much for sharing, Mr. Sanders! The Lord has blessed you so much with a lovely gift of interpreting the bible in the most correct form. God bless you!
Thank you so much!
Great show thank you
